Mónica Cruz is a Spanish actress and dancer By 2005, Mónica starred in the Spanish television show Un Paso Adelante. along side Beatriz Luengo, Pablo Puyol, Silvia Marty and Lola Herrera. She has since appeared in the films L’Inchiesta (2006), Last Hour (2006) — a thriller starring Michael Madsen and DMX — Liolà (2007), and The Final Inquiry (2007).she will be seen in the forthcoming movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean in the year 2011, though she will not be casted in the movie In 2010, her sister Penélope her sister was pregnant while filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Towards the latter half of shooting, the appearance of her pregnancy was very apparent so the filmmakers had to figure methods of shooting around it. This included shooting Penélope in close up scenes while hiring Mónica to stand-in for long distance scenes as she appeared identical to her sister.
